Community Builder; Co-founder of Women In Asia; Lead Curator of TEDxSingapore
Vivian is a community builder and TEDx curator. She is the co-founder of Women In Asia, an online community which helps to amplify perspectives from Asia, and help bridge cultural and gender differences. She is also the co-curator at TEDxSingapore and TEDxNTU. Building communities has always been her passion. She was part of the co-founding team at TEDxNTU, where she curated more than 8 years of Ideas Worth Spreading till date. She brings diverse people together, share conversations and build authentic connections.
Amanda currently works as a Senior Program Officer for the Leadership & Exchange Programs (LeadEx) of the Asia Foundation, a team dedicated to advancing the Asia's emerging leaders and changemakers through specialized trainings, tailored study tours and international exposure. Programming has increasingly focused on advancing participants' social impact, often through the development of social entrepreneurship. In addition to her duties at TAF, she actively provides peer reviews for papers submitted to “Case Studies in the Environment”, a publication under the University of California Press, judges entries to the Big Idea Contest, and pursues independent documentary photography and film projects.
